Nim’s Island
It was a great pleasure to work with the CafeFX team on Nim’s Island. I worked closely with Michael Sean Foley, the CG Supervisor on the film, to create a flicker free global illumination simulation for the CG characters in the film. I also help to create shaders to achieve the proper displacement and overall look of the CG lizard character. Lastly, I was instrumental in creating the render pass pipeline to give the compositing team the most flexibility after rendering the character passes.
